Material Composition and Board Quality
Premium-grade paperboard materials are chosen to strike a compromise between print quality, sustainability, and strength. For luxurious presentation, options include Solid Bleached Sulfate (SBS); for environmentally concerned companies, Kraft paperboard; and for cost-effective production, Clay Coated News Back (CCNB). Material weight and towel size determine the thickness of the fabric from which the towels will be made (thickness estimates are 14 to18 pt.). Moisture-resistant linings or biodegradable inner wrappings can be used as an option to protect the integrity of the towel.
Dimensions and Custom Sizing
All towel packaging is completely adjustable to match the exact measurements of the folded towel. While custom dimensions remove extraneous room and improve shelf arrangement, face towels, hand towels, and bath towels come in regular sizes. Tightly controlled manufacturing tolerances guarantee uniformity over production batches, therefore enhancing stacking efficiency and visual consistency in retail settings.
The following dimensions are common for towel boxes:
Small: 8" by 12"
Regular: 15" by 18"
Large: 22" by 25"
Printing Technology and Brand Application
Modern offset and digital printing technologies are basically mastered to get sharp and accurate pictures and colors. The use of CMYK printing and the Pantone Matching System (PMS) throughout different manufacturing runs ensured that the Branding was consistent all the time. Printing surfaces (both inside and outside of the Product) give a chance to add information about Branding, Care Instructions, Sustainability benefits, and/or customer experience stories.
Finishing Touches and Surface Enhancements
Many different finishing methods exist to improve both the looks and the strength of bath towel packaging. While premium embellishments such as spot UV, raised UV, embossing, debossing, and foil stamping provide tactile and visual distinctiveness, matte or gloss lamination, soft-touch coatings, and aqueous finishes offer surface protection. These finishes not only set the packaging on store shelves apart but also provide wear resistance during handling.
Display Features and Consumer Visibility
To increase visibility and consumer engagement, retail-oriented display components can be incorporated into the package design. Die-cut windows let buyers see the towel color and texture before buying with clear or biodegradable films. Open-faced designs, hanging tabs used in shelf/peg-hook displays, allow for the use of packaging across multiple retail display types.
Packing, Logistics, and Distribution
Flat-packed and bulk-packed corrugated master cartons are supplied so as to simplify logistics. This simplifies storage, lowers transportation expenditures, and lowers shipping volume. The towel packaging design helps to guarantee compatibility with current inventory and retail systems by facilitating barcode location, SKU tagging, and batch encoding.
